    Prime Gets WPSL

Breaking News! All of us at Prime are extremely excited to announce we will be fielding a team in the @wpsl (Women’s Premier Soccer League) 2021 season.
The WPSL is the largest women’s soccer league in the world with more than 130 clubs throughout the U.S. and Canada. And now Prime is a part of it!

The WPSL provides a three-month window from May thru July for elite amateur athletes to showcase their talents. Rosters feature collegiate, post-collegiate, international, standout prep and National Team athletes.

Prime will be participating in the Sunshine Conference - Southern Division.

Stay tuned for more information including roster invitations/ selections in the coming days.

The player pool, where does it come from? Can a player outside that Club play on the team for the summer?

Yep. Our WPSL team is fairly heavy with college kids. It's like USL2 for mens side. A short summer season to stay in shape.

The new WPSL-u23 has a minimum age of 14. I have read the minimum age of regular WPSL team is minimum of 18 but have also seen a couple places say 16 is the minimum. Is 18 the new minimum age to roster on a WPSL team? Is that so the younger players will play on a U23 WPSL team?
