So if FU is going to be ECRL and Weston keeps GAL why would anyone go to FU second team if it playing on a lower level than GAL? Seems like FU is in a fix and success depends on how much the first team is willing to pay to float the club for the year to see if they get ECNL following year. Unless Weston is in on the facade of FU being an independent club? Even though the training is good if your daughter is an 06 or older do you risk the loss of the year?

FU will run as its own entity, but will really be Westons first and second teams, with GAL and DPL. Weston never really supported its top tier girls, this way, FU can worry about it and proivde the correct support to those girls. This is fully with Westons support - they will push all of their better players to FU when they age in at U13. No ECNL which is fine, GA has done a great job in year 1 and will continue to get better, the showcase at IMG was great, lots of scouts on hand from D3 schools, lots of D1 scouts watching the livestream, national team head coaches and scouts were all over img watching games

So their first teams in each age group will be in GAL and the second teams will be DPL, both under Florida United in Davie. Third teams and down stay as Weston In Weston.
