You are confusing your NEFC teams. U16 Elite beat Stars West in the fall. They aren't playing in this tournament, U16 Premier is on the other side of the bracket.

Sorry but it is you who are confused. The op re NEFC v STars West 16s is correct. Click on the 16 Gold bracket. There are 10 teams listed and both NEFC Elite and Premiere are playing. Elite played one game and will play 2 games tomorrow. They are playing both Canadian teams and the PAE team. I understand why NEFC Elite wants to play other teams like Canada, but neither NEFC team plays Stars West.

The CT team sure gave the U13's a run for their money. Without a late assist from the ref their tournament might be over already. The 6-0 beatdown of a weak Bolts team was a nice touch. We'll see if SSS provides so little push back.

BTW - you do realize SSS and NEFC played last week and tied 1-1. A very good game and either team could have won. The game against FSA should have been over by the half, but FSA (ECNL, right?) were aggressive and NEFC had two clear penalties that weren't called. As for the late assist comment - if you were at the game, you would have seen the player was hacked from behind and may not play the rest of the tournament. The ref consulted with the linesman and he gave a free kick on the edge of the box, so when you say the ref assisted, are you saying he kicked the ball and one of the NEFC players scored? What a pathetic loser you are.

I notice the NEFC 16s and Stars West 16s aren't playing. I know NEFC beat them 4-0 this fall but based on today's scores, it looks like SW has their act together. Interesting how they assigned games in that group, but both teams are probably happy not to face each other.
