Because most parents don't see these problems until their kid get cut and then they cry about it hiding behind anonymous postings because they are to scared to reveal who they are. Just like you are doing now.

      1. I wouldn’t play the kids in 7 tournaments a year, 2 state cups, and multiple leagues.
      2. I would have the kids play soccer at practice instead of running and juggling so much.
So join a club that concentrates on teaching better soccer and leave the winning to the real men.

Um yeah ok. Or until these kids go to a few college id camps and get a real eye opener. But you have fun travelling to no name local "showcases" for points.

Just drop it. Obviously you won't get an answer to the op question. To each their own.

My kid never got cut and I am no pussy! I have been where you are and woke up one day. One day, hopefully, sooner rather than later, you will see that all I said is true.

If your idea of success is playing as many games as possible to have a lot of GotSoccer points. Yes it’s great, They just don’t develop the kids as soccer players. That is why they don’t get a lot of college players.

You mean college coaches don't commit based off of Got Soccer points?!?

No but they go to more competitive brackets at tournaments where teams with the most points play. #soccercollegerecruiting101

they have developed some of the best teams in the country over the years with very small player pools. how do you determine success? leagues? tournaments? rankings? college recruits? are you even familiar with their history? this club keeps outputting state champs, and even some national champs. A lot of their teams perform very well in the best tournaments in the country. I just don't get your logic here. this group is some of the hardest working trainers on the island. never seen anyone put as much into this as they do. truth is, there is a very good chance if you are talking badly about the club then your kid didn't make the team and you are just bitter. but, there is no way to know that unless you put your name to the comment. otherwise, how does anyone take your negative attacks seriously?

and yes, gotsoccer points are not EVERYTHING, but to say they are meaningless is just stupid. besides the fact that winning higher level tournaments and leagues gives you significantly more points, having more points gets you back into the higher brackets and leagues, which is where you find the majority of college coaches. Go apply for Jeff Cup with a crappy ranking and no accomplishments, see if you get in.
