      Oregonians that went pro...lulz.

Josh Brown...lol. if only you knew the history. This guy being around kids is quite interesting considering again his history.

Nate Jaqua - Nice guy and fun to play against. Wasn't a phenomenal plater by any means. MLS

Alex Salazar - Daddies ex pro status helped with getting a personal trainer which is when he actually became a decent player. Pro in Australia btw.

Ryan Cochrane - came from John Baines team, cheap ass player, easy to mentally take out of the game. Average player at best.

Jim Rilatt was pushed out of Oregon, Timbers, due to internal politics.

John Baine, good guy and a very good coach.

Doubt anyone would be able to push him. Jus Sayin.

That's besides the point, after 4 inglorious clubs stops in less than 6 years (FC, LO, WUSC & ESU) he went north to the Seattle market.

          No internal politics involved, sorry.

Jaqua by 'Oregon' standards was a phenomenal player. WCC (frosh) POY, #3 MLS Draft pick, MLS All Star Game Selection 2006 vs Chelsea . Jaqua has played for the U-18, U-20, and U-23 United States national teams. He got his first cap for the senior team on January 29, 2006, against Norway and nearly scored in the U.S. victory. 46 goals in MLS, 12 shy of Oregon product leader Chad Barrett who got his total over 12 seasons, Jaqua got his total over just 8 seasons.

What country are you from? Since you were able to play against him internationally and it was what you described as 'fun'.

            Nice try.

Yes, the 4th of July would be a great day to announce the hire of an English soccer bum....

It won’t matter who they hire. That person will fail also. Until they change their gameplan to develop players then they will fail. It’s impossible if your boss and owner aren’t interested in developing homegrown talent

It was a guess. Was I right? It seems the most logical. He’s Gavin’s puppet and with Gavin’s marching orders RM will keep the Timbers Academy on a failing pathway.

An internal hire would meet very few of the qualifications.
