Certainly lots of public shaming videos out there of all types. Whether or not it helps create a more civil society? We'll see. Screaming, berating referees, or even worse brawling at a youth sporting is obviously inexcusable. But the parents I can't stand are the ones who make snarky comments about players, or treat relationships with parents and coaches like a John LeCarre novel - doing intel on people, trying to schmooze with the coach without others seeing. Best bet is to avoid the scrum of parents at the center line and park your chair on either end. You don't have to hear as much BS or stupid comments and can just enjoy the game.Comment
