I would agree with that . But I think you may have left out some possible additional revenue sources.

Of course there are more. However the main revenue are from ticket sales. Additional revenue streams include: media rights, concessions and advertising

Of those. Ticket sales are largest. There’s no tv rights to speak of. Advertising/jersey sponsor will generate some limited revenue and concession is tied to the gate.

You forgot merchandise, which may or may not be tied to the gate, plus camps/clinics are a potentially viable option as well. Advertising could generate a more than limited revenue stream as well. It will all depend on how creative they get and who they hire in key business roles as well (not knocking Elm City, however they fell desperately short on the business end of things).

I included merchandise in with concessions

              Didn’t include camps.

All in these other revenue streams might generate an extra $200,000

They will not use any of their money, they will just request more money from the state

The Colorado Rockies pay the Yard Goats player salaries. Who is gonna pay the soccer salaries? The state of CT?

Salaries could be paid by a local club? CFC or Oakwood come to mind. Players could run camps and clinics as part of salary agreement...

While getting involved with youth programs and camps can help bring in extra $ (and lots of it) I would think initially they'd want to focus on getting their primary business up an running. Try and do too much and you risk doing nothing well

Correct. They have gone on record saying that there will not be a youth affiliation

This could be the dumbest idea ever. Maybe we can get residents of the town of New London to pay these players salaries, they have nothing to do with the new team either. How about the team pay for itself or fold as we do in open market systems. You're a true blue democrat, aren't you ..... someone else has to pay for an idea that may or may not work.
