Ginga doesn’t need CFC they are largest growing club in CT and I’m confident that ECNL wouldn’t mind having a club like this joins its ranks in near future.
If anything Ginga is tremendous threat to CFC and Yankee!

The handful of talented kids move on to the top leagues to take a run at college play.
Ginga is nice low cost local option for younger kids. Will never be anything more.

Everson is a great guy and totally gets the soccer landscape. He’s pushed some of his better players to ECNL etc. it says a lot about him.
Great fun club to be part of for younger kids but a wasteland after u14

Clubs in warm weather climates in the US aren’t playing futsal and certainly not out in California. So a for profit group organizes a trip where a bunch of 10 years olds play for a national title on the west coast against the other 6 teams stupid enough to do the same thing. To futhur complicate matters, the CT club pulls from Lower income areas that really can’t afford the trip.
Makes no sense
At a certain travel is unavoidable in youth soccer but at least wait until they get past braces and are maybe doing it again it wth college on the line

DA kids go to San Diego. ECNL kids fly all over creation. The difference is that most of them are in High school and well down the path of college recruitment
