No ..the thread is about how gps as organization can't develope their own players that they have to go elsewhere to pick up a kid from el Salvador. I guess all that money that people around here pay for these high quality ,ex pro british guys to develop their kids doesn't work. Try a sock with rocks and join the ymca..

Isn't the goal of youth soccer to get to College and possibly MLS? Except for a couple of goalies, no kids from the US will ever play high level soccer in Europe. We just don't have the money to spend on proper development.

As far as proving that DAP is the best, you just have to take their word for it. Also the college coaches recruit there, and that is all that matters.

Ok, at the National Cup how many college coaches did you see? Tell the truth. A few weeks earlier DAP SHOWCASE IN GRAND PARK had 300+ coaches from the best schools in the USA. Straight fact. Where r the coaches going to watch?

So, what your saying is that since GPS may not have been able to field a full roster from the team, instead of going to the 15 other GPS entities within the US, or finding someone else locally, they went to CA to find someone? Makes total sense.

Like I said, Didn't matter. They were embarrassed with a 0-5 loss.

An 0-5 loss is shameful. 1-1 is hardly that. And unless you were there watching games how do you know about the quality of the competition or how close the games really are? I have no affiliation with this club but am tired of obvious posters with no information but clearly an axe to grind.
