So i dont even have a daughter playing soccer (thank god) and realize this is the cesspool called TS, but can't you nitwits for once just congratulate these young girls from Stars and NEFC and and realize that what they both accomplished was outstanding ? Obviously a lot of talented girls on both teams and they both have much to be proud of. Unfortunately their parents dont show half the maturity that the girls themselves probably do and feel its more important to carry on the same ridiculous arguments and name-calling they always do. Way to go girls, great job.

Who cares. Everyone knows that MPS Thanksgiving is a preseason warmup event. An odd result here or there in that setting is hardly unexpected. Maybe Stars ate too much turkey before hand. Whatever the case, Stars obviously made strides during the course of the season. Making it to the Finals of any national league is a significant accomplishment. For anyone to suggest "Hey, NEFC beat that team back in November, therefore that should/could have been them playing in the ECNL Final gainst West Coast FC" -- all of that innuendo based on nothing more than the result of a preseason game from 9 months ago -- is folly.Originally posted by Unregistered View PostComment

Parent of an NEFC player (yes... really). The bashing on this site is embarrassing and that includes folks from NEFC, Stars, and every other club posting on this site. Fortunately, the majority of the parents and players from all of the above are sane enough to avoid this ridiculous forum.

Anyone who watched JD coach knows he has a very coarse mouth with his players AND this would not be the first time the man has said something completely outrageous to a team full of girls after a loss so there should be little doubt the story is true.
