Nonsense - Let's wait to see some games played with the actual / complete teams .... It's starting up now, so won't be long before we have some actual results to argue about ...

Anyone know who the "other teams" that got votes were?

Not everyone tries out for the Revs. It is an enormous commitment for the kid, and the family, especially if you don't live near Foxboro.

Only other team that merits mention would have been PTUSA. They finished ahead of Valeo and Blazers in MAPLE and were a better squad than either of those teams, although hard to think they were stronger than the GPS team. That team does not chase points like some of the other teams listed, but it has been consistently solid.

All old news now--its a new season.

So you think that every good male soccer player in New England plays for Revs?

No way ... That was just a troll:

Plenty of good players don't opt for Revs for a variety of reasons:

Too far from Foxboro, want more playing time, want to play for school, don't want to sacrifice academics ...

                    Just a few examples:

                    Mac Steeves : Providence
                    Andrew Wheeler-Omiunu : Harvard
                    Bernard Yeboah- University of Vermont
                    Leon Brown : Notre Dame
                    Wyatt Omsberg : Dartmouth
Trevor Davock (Left Revs) : BC

and we will find out in the next few weeks how these teams fair except maybe Valeo who will be hard to measure unless they play locally.

that program would get the real cram of the crop if they were better like some other mls franchises for their youth academy. As it is, they get good players but not necessarily the best. Not everyone is going to drive to foxbo for training every week or move their families to be closer. For those that do I hope it pays off in the long run. I've seen players rostered that clearly were not the best of those I've seen for their age group.
