    Rising U14 Girls

So the games have been completed with several of the local U14's teams achieving impressive runs. SSS, Star's ECNL and NPL, NEFC elite and Breakers. Apparently there has been lots of team jumping- so who will be the team to beat in 2016?

Half of your rising U14 team won't be playing by U16. Mark my word. Enjoy the ride, the time with your girls, the road trips and tournaments. Forget about what team is the best, and which player is the best and just hope that your kids remains interested in the sport 2-3 years from now. Trust me on this one! Do yourself (and you kid a favor) and chill out.

come back after they have actually played some games.....then maybe there is a chance at a reasonable discussion...clearly there is no opportunity for that in late July

                NEFC is the Best
NEFC is the only club that can develop a player
If your daughter has any potential whatsoever, the only club you should consider is NEFC

If players choosing to join a club and their U14 team is any indication, this is apparently true.

NEFC is cumbling, to many NON COMPETITIVE TEAMS...

                    Run away, and stay away.

That's because each age group for girls has only about 40-60 above average players. That's it. Rest are kids with parents that have too much money. There is no development only stealing kids.

Wow, you are an angry little person. I'm a different poster, but couldn't agree more with what that person said. I've been through it as well and it is 100% true. Some of you are way too into your club and team and believe all the BS the club is telling you about the team, the league you are playing in, whatever. All he/she was saying was to Relax. Don't take it all so seriously. As long as your child is enjoying soccer and is continually developing, the rest will take care of itself. Beware that some clubs are better for different ages. We found that the bigger clubs are really good for the younger ages, but not as good for the older ages. And the exact opposite for the smaller clubs. But again, relax Francis
