Really? That ain't bad.

It's not that much. There was league play, some tourneys, they did WCDA and NWCL, she was not on the roster for a couple of events, but it was more like 4.5 to 5k for U14. U16 is the spendy year but it's also when you are trying to get exposure, So they play in more of the big ECNL tourneys. We didn't go watch the travel matches outside of OR / WA. They had their coach giving them instructions and didn't need us there. Actually, the coach doesn't bark either. If they can't figure it out on there own by U14 they've been coached wrong prior, Coach really shouldn't be yelling instructions constantly. We had a great experience last year. A lot more comprehensive then say ODP.

If you break it up into monthly payments it's only $875 per month which is very doable.

Our's comes out to about $5,000 or $500 for 10 months (ECNL season/playoffs/Surf Cup) that includes airfare, lodging rental cars, chaperone/coaches cost and meals

But it's worth it. Invest $30k for a college scholarship? That's a good return on investment."

I know there are a lot of people thinking about scholarships.

Focus should always be on academics first. Unless you are a four star or higher football recruit schools won't lower admissions standards for athletes.

Plus there is a lot more money available for academics.
