The GDA teams are playing against similar records at the showcase. Thus allowing college coaches to scout the best against the best. Don't be disillusioned. But at the same time this format makes perfect sense.

This is very loosely true. They are still playing great competition. OP GDA plays Michigan Hawks for example....very strong national club. Another OP team plays Beach soccer who is doing very well 7-1-4 against the top Region in the country, the SW.

So, don't completely minimize their performance. They're not the top teams in the country, but far far from the bottom.

The DA players get Friday off. The need a rest day. Then the DA players are free to go play three high school games next week.

Here from NC we don't do HS soccer but coach let's some do XC and in spring some will do track.
