Missing child alert went out. The coach is a family friend and dad wants to know she is okay and then they can move on.

Nothing justifies this type of behavior, however they both seem a bit awkward. Hopefully they at least check in with the parents and don’t do anything extreme.

The age of consent in Florida is 18, but close-in-age exemptions exist. By law, the exception permits a person 23 years of age or younger to engage in legal sexual activity with a minor aged 16 or 17. 27 and 17...he should have waited a few months!

He's under arrest. Seems to be a case of extremely poor judgment rather than some psycho out to do harm, thankfully

The joy ride to visit family in New York didn't have a happy ending for him.

Hope the dance along the way was worth the trouble they caused.

If she says she didn't have any physical contact with him, and they both stick to the story, then very little will happen to him.

That's probably true, legally anyway. Reputation gone!

Parents already had an idea something was going on this summer because of social media. did they do enough to stop it? Was the coach more manipulative than perhaps described?
