I’m sure there are plenty of Rec teams out there to join you

I beg to differ! 01's are bad. They will need to beg Coach juan to let that team borrow players from his 00 team. ECNL already knows this trick. 02 are players who got cut from Weston.

Sunrise 2000 is one of the best teams in the nation (non-ECNL or GDA).

The college coaches will leave the ECNL Showcase in Sanford to come watch them play.

If they are 2000`s shouldn't 90% of them already be committed?

Kids born Jan - Aug are seniors; Sept-Dec are Juniors. But yes most would be done by now

The ECNL Composite teams are Juniors heavy, and many are not done.

Circular argument. Junior heavy is code for not good enough for main ECNL teams so coaches are leaving anything to come see B team players.

Junior year for girls is still a busy year for mid to lower D1s and definitely D2 and D3. Yes the top studs and top programs will be done but not many players or programs fit that bill

They have a year and a half before graduation. They are only beginning to visit colleges, and can't apply until fall. Talked to a D1 coach from up north and he said he likes to select Juniors who have matured and come into their game.

Top prospect get selected sophomore or freshman year. Schools want them to commit before they are identified by another school. Families want to get the process over with especially if it’s one of their top choices. It pretty simple.

May depend on the level of the D1 college and the college coaches too.

The players will continue to grow and learn throughout the next five or six years. The college training will improve every aspect.

Most players are "top prospects" except in the minds of their parents. Not everyone is a "top player" by definition. Same goes with "top" programs. Mid sophomore year well into junior year is the busy time for many girls
