For a D1 state final, it was a crappy game.

NO ONE thought either team would go as far as they did. Nashoba was still going to be the team to beat and Millbury lost their 2 star players. Congrats to both for great seasons in CMass, along with Sutton girls, and the Bromfield and Nipmuc boys, there's a lot of soccer to be proud of in these parts.

I agree, you are correct great seasons and showing by all CMASS Teams this year and am man or woman enough to admit I was wrong to keep going on the WHS and Millbury thing. My bad.

When you're a team that is so effective on set plays and down a goal early in the 2nd half, isn't the purpose of high pressure and field position more important than possession without purpose, just to satisfy the desire of some ****-talking message board elitists?

Sisters converting a free kick and corner kick for tying and game-winning goals to capture the state title answered that question.

Wachusett will be in the mix for CMass title again, but lost a larger group and some quality players. They have a great feeder system in place.
