So the shoe fits when it goes the other way? You stomp, cry and throw a fit like the immature baby that you are when someone says something about a kid on westside but turn around and do the same thing? A bit hypocritical don’t you think? And just so you know his teammates put it in writing and the westside kid himself pulled the ultimate 2020 kid mistake (put it out in writing on social media) and has confirmed what he said and encouraged so there is no guessing or disputing about what was or wasn’t said so get it straight. Yes the opfc player did it to himself but You are the only jackazz on this chat

Big difference is that nobody has called out the OPFC player who made the dirty tackle (and got hurt) by name--even though dangerous fouls are IMHO a bigger deal than taunting. At any rate, you still seem confused; the allegation is that the WT player was taunting on the field, not that he was taunting afterwards on social media.

From what I can gather asking my DS about this... a lot of the claims being made by OPFC players are exaggerated dramaqueenery at best, complete bollocks at worst.

Oregon Premier had a bad weekend. They entered the weekend at the top of the table, and got only one point out of two matches. The failed to score against the team that two years ago were the doormats of the DA. They lost to the team that they hate losing to more than any other, and in a reversal of what usually happens in WT/OPFC games, got completely knocked off the ball in the second half. One of their players lost his shizz, and ended up doing the soccer equivalent of pulling the grenade and lobbing the pin. And now half the roster is busy acting like a bunch of whining social justice warriors, trying to get an opposing player "cancelled", as though we all don't know that far more offensive trash-talk than what is alleged here happens every weekend.

We know what we are. We don't care though.

With all that has changed in 2020, this thread seems to be the same as it ever was; well except detail copa dad recaps , which are missed.

Thank you for never changing 05 parents!

Wasn't meant as a dis to UPDX, who is vastly improved over two years ago. But OPFC has long liked to suggest that they are/were better than the Timbers Academy, so going 0-1-1 to two of the clubs that have a fair number of ex-TA players on them kinda bursts that bubble.

And Capital is coming up to visit this weekend. When do they get FC Portland? Doesn't FC now have everyone back but RF?

What is up with OPFC this season, anyway? They won NWNL last year, and had a new coach that had them playing some rather attractive soccer. The end-of-the-game extracurricular nonsense aside, last week's OPFC/Westside match was a good one.

Simply a rough patch? It happens.

Less benefit from the reverse rapture, compared to other clubs that got TA prospects back after the move to 2-year age groups means half of the 05 Timbers Academy got cut? Possibly.

But right now they're in grave danger of slipping out of contention, with two losses (and two teams still undefeated, three if you count WashT who have only played one game).

And speaking of "what happened..." what has happened to ADF? Last year they were running away with Spring League (not sure if a title was awarded, or if they simply cancelled the season when everything shut down, but ADF had essentially clinched first place) but now they are in the bottom third of the table, and other than a waxing of Woodburn, have accomplished nothing.
