I’d say the same thing as LS happened. Reality set in.

If you are on both lists? Then you did it right.
This is a soccer forum, not an AP forum. We’re comparing soccer, not academics.

And that's On a team that didn't win a single conf game and only 3 wins overall.
Interesting coincidence that the story over at Umass Amherst is exactly the same.

maybe its CFC snake oil
After her first ECNL showcase (Jan - FL) she rescinded her commitment to FU to test the waters with all the big schools populating the sidelines, certain in her ability to land a Power 5 soccer school.
Just one problem, the ECNL competition was too much for her and her stock fell precipitously. No full rides, and no power schools. Got some good partials from some good schools, including another from the ranks of CFC D1 coaches. And so she ended up at UMass Amherst.
And now another CFC college coach has thrown her a life raft. Again.
Yankee filled her with dreams of greatness without the tools to back it up. She would have had a real impact at FU. She will as well at SH.
The other player mentioned at Wagner was also Yankee. The Uconn redshirt transfer was a CFC player. Uconn was a reach for her, she will be much better served at SH.

YU filled her head with delusions of grandeur, played her on any age group she wanted that fit her schedule, no-tuition while at Yankee. The only small dose of reality she got was from JN at STJ. You would have thought playing 2nd fiddle to JB for three years, and then again to JM in her last would have corrected it.
It didn’t.
