Which docs are allowing this if they have full rosters?
Very few if any. As the other person said the rare scholarship will only go to a super stud a club thinks they can't live without. In DA guest players have to be with the club on another team (B team).
It's for players who might develop into something or for some reason can't/won't do fulltime DA (like along commute). ECNL has their own rules for guest players as well. Politically its fraught with issues and most clubs wisely avoid it.
She’s been playing with boys , we’ll stick to that plan
generally speaking this can be a decent plan. it's certainly a very good plan they shes playing with skillful boys. the main advantage is on average the boys play at a faster pace requiring quicker decision making and more technical skill.
however if shes playing with average or below average skilled boys (especially at the younger ages before boys are significantly quicker and faster) then it might not be as good of a plan than playing with elite level girls.
ive seen a few girls that thought they were going to dominate cause they were coming from playing with boys....they were a little surprised when they just...blended in and were fine, but far from dominant.
It's also a plan that doesn't last long. In middle school the boys' physicality and speed starts to accelerate and few girls can keep up. And above poster is right - just because you're playing with boys doesn't mean your player is above average. Since daddy seems to think his kid is a stud that could explain the lack of interest from clubs. They can smell bad parents from far away

So how do some of these crazy parents (dt) get their kids on various teams a year if coaches can “smell” them?

Because some coaches/clubs are desperate enough to rack up the wins and got soccer points. Too many teams/club/leagues and a finite amount of talent = battle for market share. Many parents are foolish enough to think a strong win record means a club has good coaching and the clubs know it.

yes but in order to do this you have to be an impact player in which she is NOT. You can be a great player yes but making an impact to cause more winnings especially on ecnl or DA, biggggggg difference. He gets in there by promising more prospects very simple...never delivers and then moves on. then repeat
