Sadly, you are correct. World Class and Albertson will likely not be in the ECNL very long. They were bottom feeders in the league and sent a lot of players to DA. Not good enough to compete in both. Hopefully it works out in the DA for them.

Some fare well some get strung along and some get no love- its a roller coaster of emotions but in the end it works out for most

So it appears that the much touted BS is BS is, in fact, a lot of BS. The two HS age girls seem to have played pretty well.

I think it all goes to say that there are multiple quality teams at 01 and 00 age bracket in CT, and not all of them are from the big 3. ECNL teams still likely win 9/10 times in games if they played though, but I don't think it would be as lopsided as some people think.

Many of those current ECNL players just left EDP/NPL teams within the last year or two, and not all of them were the best players on those teams. Several kids decided to stay.

I guess as long as a kid is happy with a club and what the club can do for their development, then all is good. Just happy to see that CT soccer is competing well with teams from the region.

To the op who said ecnl tourney had a ton of coaches- it does but then those same coaches went to disney ( diff this year with the date change)- its all good

0 goals for a 15 against is tough to justify anyway you look at it. not sure how many kids were "showcased" May have been better off with your 17's and 18's in LI and saved $$ and embarrassment.

Those are the only girl's teams of any substance and it takes a cliff dive after that. They have to combine ages to field those teams and after some graduate put others may not have a team.

If the u14s are any indication? No. They were last in the fall or close to it. The u16s are the only good team so YU holds them up all the time like they represent the while club

ok but how many of the girls played on both teams all weekend? having players play four games in one day is not looking out for the health of your players, it's looking out for the health of your bottom line.
