Gps
GPS is great , made the switch a few years ago. both strong clubs. You should have your player try out and see if he likes the coaches and the kids.

Find out who is coaching. Based on my experience, the level of coaching at one of those clubs is very inconsistent (parent coaching), while at the other, it is mostly quite strong and high.

NEFC South County is just town coaches wearing red, white, and blue, I don't know why it's considered an option.

Focus on two factors: the coach and the other parents when making your decision.
GPS coaching is strong across the board (have a 2006 there now). Can't speak for NEFC but hear it is a very good program as well.
From a personal standpoint, make sure you know the parents on the team. They can ruin the experience for everyone if they are loud, ignorant, etc.

Allowed a few vocal parents to have more say/influence, especially when their kids were not the better players - see moving training to Mansfield, which added more costs to central/southern RI parents that were not commensurate with the club's overall bang for the buck..
