Licenses? Thought DAP had standards?

Both of these comments are just dumb and from lazy posters. Take the time and look up the coaches yourself.
Shalri Joseph was a very accomplished professional player. Also has coached youth soccer for a number of years and had some very successful teams defined by both W/L/D and by individual player success. Personally, I have seen him run a number of practices and clinics and all have been excellent and high energy. Last I knew, he had a class B license
Andy Dorman has had a good professional career playing here in the US, in Wales, and England (crystal palace). His professional career lasted 9 years (+/-). He has a class B license...last I knew. He too runs some great practices.
If you can find coaches better than these two, consistently, at any other club, then you should take you child there as they will be well trained.
However, I guess we will see what happens.

I have seen Shalrie Joseph run training sessions a few times and he seems pretty solid. He knows the game, is technically sound, engages with the kids, pays attention during drills and corrects their technique. He never seems checked out during training. I think most kids would love having him as their coach as he gets excited and makes training fun. He certainly can teach kids soccer.

The licensing helps them to focus on appropriate age related training and to reign in unrealistic expectations. And there is a strict grading system in place
It shows a passion for both learning and being better at the foundational aspects of the game.
Why would you belittle those who choose to further themselves.
And the c license is very competitive.
You must be a jealous youth baseball, softball or basketball coach-no license required there.

All of the Bolts coaches are highly qualified. They have experience, and they have appropriate licenses. I don't know what you mean by competitive.
