The 2000s on the very strong '99 team will also stay with their current '99 teammates and play 1999 next year, etc. Not stacking the deck, just keeping the status quo. None of the teams will be as strong in league/tournaments as if they went birth year but they will still be good teams, just playing up a year. For the record, the good 2002s will be allowed to stay on the current '01 team and play 2001 with them next year. It will all work out for everyone.

The current 01 team, that couldn't even get out of pool play in state cup, is going to stay together and have many players play up. Who is making these decisions? You are guaranteeing years of mediocrity aside from the DOC-coached athletica team. Priorities are pretty interesting down in Eugene.

The '00 Green girls won Oregon State Presidential Cup.
Our DD plays for the team. She was on the Reds when half the team left for Salmon Creek.
We left it up to her & she's pretty loyal wanting to stay with ***C.
Lately, all of her communications & practices for next year have been with the '01 coaches. All the info is on the website but so far the plans are for 2 RED teams & 2 WHITE teams for the '01 girls???
No one has mentioned anything to us about her staying with the '00 girls. I think she'd like to be able to stay with her '00 friends if she had the choice. There's currently only about 3 true '01's on the '00 team.
Although I don't know how it's all gonna be handled when at least 9 current players on her team have to travel to Colorado and it's June 13-17th. They're in luck, only 2 girls won't go.
It's an experience for her. My wife & I sure never got to go to Colorado & California when we were young.
I have never seen a group of young ladies so HAPPY. Their medal picture is priceless with every single one sportin' giant smiles. They're not big time but hey, they're having fun.
I would have thought a couple '99's would keep the current team competitive?
