More teams leaving CSA Monmouth

Love dumb replies like this one that don't offer any kind of rebuttal. That post was 100%, and if you aren't experiencing this yourself at CSA Monmouth, it's because your kid got lucky and has one of the good coaches there. A good coach (and good team/parents) can insulate you from the issues with a club. You are basically on your own island, and if your coach leaves, you would see the place for what it is.

Right. Nobody is suggesting that 100% of the players at CSA Monmouth have had an unsatisfactory experience. Some Individuals have thrived and there are coaches that are skilled and truly care about the player. These coaches never stay because they can't, in good conscience, continue on the path OR they are mishandled by the organization: Not paid properly, not paid at all, not retained correctly (visas, etc). In terms of value and return on investment, generally speaking, as an organization this one is at the bottom of the choices in the state and region. Try to research how many players that entered CSA at age 9 or 10 are playing MLS, Division 1 Soccer or even high school. Now try and find how many players and parents have bad experiences or even their sports career derailed or even ended by being involved with this club.

And yes, the response was dumb and contained no rebuttal. Its based on emotion and ignorance.

That was supposed to be an indoor facility and ground broken 3 seasons ago - the proprietor had a number in mind, in terms of enrollment, before he laid out any more money on the indoor facility.

Enrollment has been declining for years (see all the posts here in this forum regarding CSA and its bad track record)

The only other piles of dirt that will become something else are the office staff, once they leave CSA and go back to Taco Bell

CSA Monmouth is a sinking ship. Many of their best coaches have left recently. My guess if the fee remaining good coaches will be out the door soon as well.

They might be adding players all the time but usually you only add players if there are openings which means someone had to leave-lol
