There’s a lot of supposed talent on that team,a lot of players have left and went elsewhere hoping for a winning season.

Defense is awful ,no midfielder possession and no wing support.Goaltending wasn’t the problem but is an easy scapegoat.

In the ACC, if all the coaches tried to play open attractive soccer, people would be shocked how few teams could do it. The BC coach is probably thinking he does not have the players to play the way he wants, but unless he can draw nationally, he should be looking at stars kids and figuring out a play stye that makes his team competitive year in year out. He is not going to out physical UNC and he is not going to out pass UVA or FSU. He needs to be beating the likes of Pitt, Miami and Syracuse regularly and being competitive vs NC State, Clemson Wake Forest. Its going to be very hard.

People dont get it. Its almost impossible to play attractive soccer and win consistently vs good teams. Most of the kids coming out of Club soccer are ill prepared. Winning games may prepare you, but often what happens is a few teams end up with most of the talent. Games are not a real challenge.

Maybe not UNC, Stanford, or UVA caliber players, but certainly Wake Forest or NC State level players. The coach knows he’ll never recruit enough players like that in New England. The pool of talent is just too small. The key is that he has to show he can consistently win at that level to attract them and the jury is still out on that. With all the transfers and foreign players he recruited, you would expect a better showing.

Really don’t know that much about him, but this team definitely isn’t performing well and is awful.
