    Indoor Soccer

What towns are playing indoor soccer this winter at WWISS, WWISN or Teamworks? What level, boys or girls and which facility. Trying to get an idea whether it's going to be worth it or not.

Sounds like nobody is playing indoor soccer this year.

Wonder if the indoor facilities can survive this.

This winter indoor soccer will be limited to futsal as the teams are smaller and players are better spread out they also don't do headers, and throw ins so it is a safer option than indoor soccer. As for WWIS they will likely be used for skills and drills, and practices for sports.
Need to keep group size to 50 and parents will not be allowed to crowd, it f numbers continue to rise parents will have to sit in cars... which isn't terrible for the kids anyway.

I am not a germphobe or hiding due to COVID, but indoor facilities make my skin crawl on a good day. A breeding ground for germs in the best of circumstances

Just have the kids sanitize as they walk in the door. Check their temps, and wear masks. play ball.

NEF has futsal trainings going on at Longplex and other locations.
ODP and SRI will be Sunday nights.
JT has training in Portsmouth at Pennfield
WWIS will have clinics going on as well.
There may not be indoor winter games but there is winter indoor training opportunities.

Kyle Teixeira has "Top Notch" training in Somerset. Some of the best group training in the area.

RI Gov has closed the indoor sports facilities for at least one week so I would hold off on writing a check to anything running in RI.
She did not mention the renting of small gymnasiums as the town soccer teams rent them over the winter. So maybe your town will run indoor practices at a gym. But avoid Longplex, WWIS, and any indoor locations for Nov trainings.
Looks like next week is in the 60s made teams can get in more practices if they have lights on the fields.

Longplex put in the cheapest turf they could find. Regular cleats slip like crazy. Everything about that place has been amateur hour

Well, if you live in R.I., have fun sitting home this winter or until other R.I. facilities decide to allow the kids to play.

Longplex is much appreciated! We’ve got basketball, soccer, futsal, volleyball, and dance opportunities for our kids because of Longplex. Doing a great job.

Why is WWIS offering indoor flag football but not soccer session 1? Doesn't seem to make sense.

Futsal courts are nice, but I agree the turf fields are not great for soccer, especially when they are so expensive to rent.
