The “C” team was playing in this tournament, as well, and was short players.

What was meaningless about this tournament? Seems like this team could have signed up to be in the low bracket and smoke all the other teams but chose to challenge themselves, win or lose.

One of them is the starting CB on the ECNL team, so she is not a benchwarmer. They played her in the midfield though.

Actually, that team probably belonged in the top bracket win or lose. The sad thing and statement from the club to parents and kids that they don't trust you to do your best without stacking the regular team with some ringers from the team above. But I guess if winning is everything, why not just pull the entire ECNL players down to play and call them NPL and kick the B team to C team? Wow. I may be on to something. Could this be the winning strategy FESA has been looking for?

Most clubs have turned into Everything is about the win at all costs. We see our government and the voters doing the same. Who cares as long as we win?

All A team starters, C and D teams were also playing, and NPL short players.
