Does this club train kids to play soccer or just how to be a thug on the field? No soccer skill but they sure can trip, grab, elbow, kick and trip their way through a game. Great job!

It's called "keeping it dangerous!". I heard a FESA coach yell that at a 10 year old female player. "C'mon Bernice! Keep it dangerous out there!" Morons.

I swear they must have a MMA training day or something. They have always played like that. When you match their physicality and still play a skilled game, they lose. unfortunately at the younger ages they do not get that so just give it time.

When your team loses chalk it up to FESA's dirty, physical and unskilled play.

FESA has large talent pool of players to stack from. They usually select players for size over technical ability and they bully their way for wins rather than coach them to play the right way. And of course, hardly any of the bully players go very far when they get older except maybe B or C team. Just win baby at FESA.

Oh. And also the joystick coaches that yell to the bullies every move to make during game since the players can't think for themselves.

If your kid can't take a little aggression, maybe they should find another sport.

Nobody outside your club, respects your club. And only about half your club respects themselves.

We don't need your respect mate. If you come at the king, you best not miss.

FESA coaching is very POOR! They poach the best recreation kids and teach them to press hard and run. Is sad to see the young kids getting no development and it catches up with them once they play higher skilled kids. This is due to poor leadership from the DOCs and ED. The coaches can only due so much when they don't know the game themselves.

FESA is a fraud. Watched their 2009B ECNL Dev team in Tampa as I was refereeing. The kids are getting no quality coaching needed at this level. They ran and kick and ran some more. Where was the passing from the back, the ball control in possession, the build up from the midfield into the wings for a cross, etc, etc. Nope, no coaching whatsoever, a coach who stood there screaming to press all game long. I felt bad as I can see this talented group going nowhere.

Says the soft ass parent whining the whole game about fouls. Let the ref call the game and if there are fouls he will call them. It is a contact sport, if your kid is so good they will out play the bully and have no problems, otherwise shut your weak ass up

This fits perfectly for the FESA 12 and under coaching. You have been warned!

Good article, certainly fits more than one coach in NE Florida.

During our experience with this joke of a club, no parent was complaining about the fouls. The ref was stopping the game every few minutes to call a foul. It's hard to get anything going when the game stops. Maybe that's a strategy for them. Keep up the good work. It looks like you teams are close to be elite.....HA HA HA.
