In the last 4 years, st joes won one fciac championship. Same as Warde, same as Staples and less than Ridgefield (2).

St Joes is overrated. The coach is an overrated windbag that wouldn't win an FCIAC championship with any school outside of one that can recruit. He should go to Danbury HS and see how long it takes to even make an FCIAC semi final.

The st joes players are always overhyped and overrated. Their best player in the last 4 years took 48 shots this year........one went in.

How can St Joe's be overrated since they have won 4 state championships in the last 5 years, 2 Fciac titles, and made 4 fciac finals appearances in the last 4 years. How many teams in the FCIAC have this resumé?

I do agree that each year 1-2 St Joe's players are overhyped but that does not take away from the success of the teams over the past 6 years. Some players may be overrated but the team is not.

any coach worth his salt will tell you it starts with players, and its harder to get good players to be unselfish and play together than the other way around

being ridiculous (your last sentence) just makes you sound like a bitter fool- i don't recall anyone saying Stjoes is a lock to win anything, just that Staples has no chance to win Fciacs ,which happens to be true

The whole FCIAC has StJoes burnout....they realize they are overrated. When a field hockey player gets 420 more votes than a soccer player who was guaranteed to get all american before her first game this year, you know you are over rated. 59 nine votes...I bet her own teammates didn't even vote for her. Petty jealousy over there runs rampant

Horrible game plan , does the CF ever look to pass or just shoot the ball from everywhere on the field. I would hate to be one of her teammates .
