At the end of the day it is tje players skill. If they can play then no manager or board member would influence a coaches decision. Get your daughter some training and stop making excuses.

That is not who they were talking about. However, PC and MC did the right thing this year by letting a few kids get sent down who deserved to be sent down. Good for them.

That's the way it should be but not the way it is at JFC. You have to be an ostrich with your head in the sand to not notice. You often see who the coaches favorite players are and everyone can see it is not based on ability. So what is it based on? No matter what it is, it kills any culture of competition because the kids don't think it matters.

I would not say she sucked but she is a bubble player who always got the benefit of the doubt before. Not a difference maker. She is far from the only one at her age group or others. Kudos to JFC for demoting some but are they demoting to make room for some promotions and movement or just to make room for new, outside players. I would guess the later and that make a big difference. In a worse way because it shows not much development is happening with existing talent pool. You have to recruit and go outside to upgrade.

The Cabal starts with mommy-daddy JFC board and ends with mommy-daddy team managers who vote for the board. Coaches kiss their butts and cater to THEM (and their kids) even when they know it's bad for the team and program. They could care less while they feather their nests and don't even fake it.

Why do only 'team manager parents' colluding with coaches get to vote for other parent JFC Board member candidates? Why is JFC leadership afraid to put the vote to all members? I will tell you why. It is much harder to control and manage all of the membership like they can "team managers only" with coaches 'in the know'. The membership at-large may want to clean house while the cabal of parents in power want to maintain the status quo because it works for THEM. They say JFC governance is better than FESA's. It really isn't. They just fake it better.

Until you get leadership that cares about all the kids and not just THEIRs and their friends kids, the culture of losing at JFC will just keep getting worse before it ever gets better. They should just call it a sorority with all the drama and backstabbing that goes on.

Partially disagree. There were signs that they listened during this tryout cycle. As was posted on previous posts, the removal of the "lawn mower parent" from ECNL was a tremendous first step.
