You’re a fvcking idiot. Get the fvck out of here with your bullsh1t FSPL teams.

Sure WFF is weak but IMG, Weston, USA...even Boca had some strong teams that would mop the floor with those rec level teams. Very very talented players committed to big time national power soccer programs. UCLA, USC, UNC, Virginia, Auburn, UF, Duke, Miami, UofSouth Carolina, UCF and on and on...

I’ve seen your Sunrise stars and Rush stars play with these type players and they disappear. Celtic??? Get real...those players will red card out of games in frustration after they chase skilled players around for 60 minutes or so. Unskilled players always resort to overly physical play when they realize they are overmatched.

Let that sink in... 1 team in 10 years. Very hard to call them one of the top 2 clubs in any area.
How soon we forget...The U18 and 17 teams for WFF in 2013 were top ECNL teams in the region and country. The U17 team finished the season at number 3 in the country. I am sure you can't relate to this as the YMCA league national champion but there is a big difference in the competition levels of the two. FPL is and always has been a joke for the last 10 years.

This was prior to YY ruining the girls program at WFF.

How soon we forget? That was six years ago! Barack Obama was President.

That U17 team was the last (only) team WFF had that was competitive and that was 6 years ago! What have they been doing the last 6 years?

For the last 6 years WFF has been paying YY's mortgage with no ROI and guaranteed 100% depreciation.

The original poster said WFF had not had but one team over .500 in 10, (TEN), (X) years. Did you get that? 10, TEN, X!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YoYo has sucked the life out of the program for the last 6 years, I agree. But you do understand what the number 10 is, correct? Just checkin'!

Come on. Everyone knows development takes time. Give the guy a fair chance. He is an MLS scout/analyst. Next year will be the best year for WFF GDA.

It is interesting to talk to ex-WFF parents when they first join TBU. They are stunned at the difference and some admit that it's like YoYo sprinkled pixie dust on them and they were content to show up at J.C. Handley for the clown show because they didn't know any better.

Some good insights on where the youth game is going.
This woman is really impressive! Just read the article and she speaks about what the youth game needs with real clarity:

"And then number three, obviously the parent is a piece of it. Unfortunately, we can’t make soccer decisions based on parent priorities, but how do we include them so that they’re helping drive these really important developmental years correctly at home and they’re helping drive it correctly for the coach and the club to have the appropriate space for the proper developmental period?"

Who else in this area is approaching youth soccer the way she describes in the interview? It shows that she has been in Colorado and California clubs the last 10 years!

That’s what they said when CS was brought on 2 years ago. It’s all a money grab at TBU. Didn’t CS come from Colorado and the Carolinas too. Now he is gone. Seems TBU is better marketing than development.
                      Good Luck

One big difference (and there are many others), CS was at the end of his career and TM is at the peak of her career. Good for TBU for bringing in fresh blood with a rich soccer background as player and youth coach.

Well if our development is that bad? Please let me know what other club is keeping up. DUTCHBAG!

Exactly. That's the difference between TBU and WFF. TBU brings in a new people every couple of years so there is no consistency. With WFF you have YY every year so you have the same consistent development year after year.

Just one more reason why WFF is better.

True, consistently bad year after year - for the last 10 years!
