It can easily be a down year for clubs......that simple.
FC Stars are better than both Ct clubs for many, many years in multiple age groups. They aren't strong at U15 either BUT not one Stars parent is burning up TS Mass about the sky is falling.
Breath people, breath..... Have your kids work hard and have fun....pretty easy.
Agreed, and FYI it’s breathe, not breath.

I've seen several of the NPL teams. There are some solid players but by and large very few are going to be difference makers on ECNL teams. College placements are a good reflection of the differences. Once exception might be CFC U17s but their ECNL U17 squad is already so strong that it's going to be a tough nut to crack.
How have you seen several of the NPL teams at both clubs? Horseshît!

You gotta be kidding! Stars 2004 girls lost in the finals at nationals last year. That made them number two in the country.

          I'm sure they meant U16.

"Seen several" - it's amazing that you guys have all this time to watch your own kids and then some other teams play as well, then go look up standings and post them here.

Lets assume that you have seen NPL games. Then we have to take a leap that you actually know what you're looking for when you see these players that are "difference makers" at the ECNL level.

IF all this is true, then please join one of these clubs, pick up a clipboard and coach one of these teams. Deal w/roster decisions, field time, other sports, unreasonable parents.

But the easier path is coming to TS.....

Its not just over involved parents posting on T.S. The local coaching world is small and coaches see plenty

What do you mean FC Stars isn't strong at U15? They are in 2nd place for the Northeast and last year the were the runner up in the Champions League.

They had one more point than CFC U15. They're good, but they're not that much better than CFC, East Meadow, PDA, etc.
