Eclipse was a top club as well.

Midwest lost their 2 best clubs to ECNL last year - Michigan Hawks and Eclipse Select. Midwest belongs to ECNL now.

Southeast lost one of their best clubs to ECNL as well last year - Concorde Fire.

Things not trending well for GDA.

And NorCal has been all ECNL since the beginning.

Nor Cal parents and clubs are the smartest.

Not a chance. You have to be an actual "club" to be accepted into the Elite "Clubs" National League. Thornz are an Asylum, not a club.

April Heinrichs is the biggest joke

The biggest joke - sad really - about all of this is that April Heinrichs was the one who rammed the USDA for girls down our throats because ECNL wasn't good enough. After she was let go by USDA guess where she is now?? You guessed it, in the ECNL.

This is no different than Oregon's own Chris Thurley screaming to every reporter he could find that DA was ruining soccer, and then taking a job coaching at Thorns. A little money goes a long way towards changing someone's strongly held beliefs.

                    Heinrichs is with ECNL now?

Did anyone address the weakness of the ECNL NW Division? Didn't think so. Slight oversight on your part(s).

Yawn. So very long ago was that statement made.

Do you even have a point, dufus?
Here's the ECNL map the year before GDA was created. Notice that every single of the clubs in NorCal stayed ECNL with the exception of DeAnza who was kicked out. That's the point the post you quoted was referencing - NorCal ECNL is strong because that that region has always been all in for ECNL.
ECNL NW will be lot stronger now that Crossfire Premier is back and with the recent Washington additions.

Tell me how this makes the case for anything "elite"? On the contrary, GDA purges the worst of the worst and if a player in Seattle wants to play at an "elite" level, will it drive them to GDA?
All this purge stuff is quite funny.

                            UPDX isn't applying for ECNL.

Washington Timbers need a place for their HS boys to play - not sure the Seattle teams want to drive to Spokane or Vancouver, so deserving or not, they may get blocked out of Boys ECNL.

Hope everyone is having a good spring break.

Listen up nimrod, you don't play in NorCal you play in ECNL NW Division. Furthermore, Seattle talent will only be diluted by adding more ECNL teams just like adding another one to Portland would further dilute the talent pool. I don't expect you to understand, nor do I expect you'll be dancing on the sidelines cause little Suzy might get to play in the PacNW game.
