Again, as stated earlier, when GDA expands to U13 next year I would expect the Disney showcase to have a larger GDA presence in the U13-U14 age brackets as the DA Showcase a week or so later is only for U15 and older.
All DA clubs are expected to play at the DA Showcase. Why any DA club chose to go to Disney with such a short turnaround is beyond me. My suspicion is that FC Virginia and Penn Fusion also sent their NPL teams so they probably just dragged the DA teams along.Comment

Is is actually cheaper to go to CASL from Florida than Disney when you take hotels, parking and entry to ESPN into account.
Disney wins/loses don't affect DA standings so any DA team going is going for their own reasons. Considering those out of state teams have to turn around and comp back in two weeks, it seems like poor choice financially.
