Improving the earning environment at top female youth soccer clubs through developing best practices for fleecing parents at its member clubs.
AH was a poor manager and a poor director. Good players will help the club stay a float along with a poor GDA product will keep the money following for AH. He saw South FL girls club soccer was a mess and saw a way to make some money. People of S. FL need to know he ran the OC program into the ground and got paid for as long as he could. He will hang around for 5 or so years and take your money until people get sick of his BS. FC Prime is his scam.

The ECNL is still the best run league and you get more for your money in the ECNL. The college coaches still come to the ECNL events in the same numbers, which are huge. GDA costs a little less than ECNL, but you get what you pay for, which is less exposure for some players which makes it more difficult with the college process. In FL, the roster numbers and quality of players in the GDA is poor. Teams are traveling to away games with 10 to 12 players. The quality of the games are poor.

So I mean . . . really this benefit of "college exposure" in ECNL is fleeting. So this is misleading as well as a few of your other points. GDA teams are weaker but so are ECNL squads. That's all relative. Paying a little liess? Depends on how many tournaments your "ECNL" team decides to participate in. There is no limit whereas GDA teams are much more restricted.
So Alan was such a disaster at OC and yet ECNL treats him like a prince. Some kind of incoming God destined to restore the ECNL name in South Florida? And yet you say that ECNL has better leadership and people in charge. I would have to say that based on your own words . . . . that doesn't seem to be accurate.

All of the parents who buy into this whole "GDA vs ECNL vs FYSA vs NPL vs FSPL" b.s. are crazy. Each one of these leagues represents nothing more than a business opportunity for the people running the league. Just play the damn game and have fun!

Trying to put GDA and AH/FC Prime in the same bucket is a distorted picture. If you got an ax to grind with AH, feel free to do so but don't paint a misleading picture about the entire league by attaching it to the behavior and conduct of 1 man.
College recruiting from all the GDA showcases were INCREDIBLE for the first year and is easily proven by the public links available on the website. Florida ecnl teams are no better and in no better position than the GDA teams against competition outside of florida also as evidenced in Florida ecnl overall performance at their showcases which is also easily proved.
You can blame AH all you want for any perceived hand he had in GDA failure at OC, but confine your remarks to that and not the league as a whole as only serves to make you look foolish or dishonest.

These discussions always turn into generic ECNL/GDA debates that go on ad-nauseum.
I wasn't around here when Boys DA started up but I imagine there were a lot of similar debates for that program too.

You are correct. I was and the reactions were about the same, just not as vulger. 4 kids in multiple sports and the cliff note versions of club meetings over the years were approximately like this:
RPL - Did not need it. Then, suddenly we did.
DA - Did not need it. Then, suddenly we did.
ECNL - Did not need it. Then suddenly we did.
Each family needs to do what works for them. Both will get you plenty of looks from colleges and the main mitigating factor in club loyalty still seems to be geographics not leagues or in our case, followed the coach.
