      Fair and FYSA?? LOL

        Just an oversight, yeah, right.

Each tournament and game require the TEAM MANAGER to deliver a printed roster and passes. It is impossiblevthat this would be an oversight if the TM was paying a minimum of attention,

        Try us with another excuse!

r “investigation “ was fine- the result was horse crap- even for FYSA. Sunrise snuck a player in against Texans. Beat Teaxans. Play Warner the next day without the illegal player and win against Warner., so they needed to vacate the game against Texans as a 0-4 loss. Technically Texans advance to play Warner or play in place of Sunrise. FYSA ruling is Warner advances-,although the lost to Sunrise without the illegal player and Texan get shown the middle finger by FYSA. Can anyone tell me how they could make that decision and how it is fair? They are making SC a big joke.

Stop crying! You lost- you got screwed. We get it. Look at it this way. At least you do t have to spend all that money to get you butt beat by Boca like Warner is going to do.

HA! Better check Boca's roster too. Last place in GDA makes for a lot of spare time for some players.

WRONG! I manage a different team and we were explicitly told NOT to bring printed rosters. You simply had to go to the game site with your player cards for them to check them off the printed roster they generated.

Either way, Sunrise tried to pull a fast one. That's on the coach. Plain and simple.

You're right: We are pissed! Texans 02 Girls should have advanced to the Round of 8 to face Warner due to Sunrise disqualification.

                    Rosters

FYSA did explicitly state not to bring rosters. The reason was that they had the official, frozen rosters on site directly from the FYSA system. Apparently this has been an issue in the past, so they removed the possibility of having a player added after the roster freeze by putting this new process in place. Those FYSA locked/frozen rosters were checked against the player/coach passes and only those players were considered official and allowed to play. There's no way that there was an oversight and that it was accidental.

Then how did the refs not catch that during check in?

That is the point dummy, there is always a printed roster and player passes, and Sunrise put a player on the field that was not registered to play. That is not an ‘innocent mistake’

Refs are Refs and are not FYSA

Well, if referees didn't have an official roster supplied by FYSA and were checking in players, they would have asked the coach/manager for a roster. If that happened, then that part of the process is done. That would have needed to be explicitly communicated to the Ref Assignor AND the referees at the onset of the event and reiterated as they were headed out to the actual matches.

If the other team ok'd it then it shouldn't be an issue. If there was no official roster on hand (which there should have been) it would have been caught when refs checked. Many at fault here, including the club, but the kids get screwed the most.
