Not when individual "creativity" is a turnover on every single touch. Why does every FSA player feel the need to dribble out of pressure rather than pass out of it? In fairness, many of the backs do try to play out decently but why not your mids and forwards (but it does get harder when you have 9 behind the ball and opposing backs are squarely on your half too)? But lets not confuse creativity with stupidity, selfishness, or lack of spatial awareness. All 3 deficits are things which must be fixed or will lead to a spot off if the field and then off of the team. These should not even be an issue by U12 or U13.

Left FSA. Was sick of watching coaches allow kids to make terrible decisions every single play with no repurcussions other than killing our chamce to get in front of the ither teams goal (and leaving the ball in front of ours).

Just silly. Children 12 or 13 are incapable of mastering anything in life.

Who said anything about mastering anything? Not turning the ball over on every single touch is hardly mastering but FSA players certainly seem to be mastering giving the ball back to their opponent on every touch (generally after 6 or 7 touches without the thought of a pass).

8th place in your league? Top team in region???? I will give you being a top team in the state, not the top team You don't make that claim because you beat your in state rival in a game on two set pieces. Who had the run of play? Did you? Proof is in the pudding, show us the commit list from your 01s so we can compare.

Probably not but you can teach, practice, and apply a give and go. Creativity should not be relied on every single play yo get out of trouble or to get to goal. There are some simpler ways that can be practiced as well. Mix fundamentals and creativity together and you might be on to something.

Is OW not considered a CT team anymore? FSA 2001 are awful.

You are expecting too much from children.

Just show the OW video that was taking down. That spoke in volumes. OW is by far the best in this age group. OW (younger and age appropriate) beat FSA soundly, FSA beat CFC soundly (2-0), so the BIG dog trophy belongs to OW.

No chatter needed about college placements CFC because the coaches aren't getting the goods that were promised if you follow the above formula.

You need to get out more. At 12 and 13 kids are very capable of playing nice soccer. You simply have to be an FSA parent without any doubt whatsoever. Just to be clear, kids are not capable of doing much by U13 and they max out technically by U15? So U14 is the year where all of the magic happens huh? Seriously, you need to leave FSA this year. Do not pass go or register for their tryouts just go anywhere else and see how the rest of us live.

I have no affiliation with FSA, CFC, Oakwood or any other major club. My children never played for any of them. It is obvious that you know little to noting about child development , and their is a strong hint of bias on your part.
