Last night at conclusion they told my daughter 7-10 days. Is that reasonable?

There is only 1 Alby team involved in post-season (all others did not qualify)...I guess we'll see if anything comes out next week once the division games are over.

Based on my own kid's experience with another club, that seems a tad longer than it should take...BUT, it might vary within age groups and level of play. That sounds a bit like your kid is a second wave pick and they're giving the first wave picks a week to decide if they want to accept.

They told that to all the kids as a group at the end of the session. Not individually.

So much activity on the other board

alot of noise on BOTN and alot of it self-serving on this topic. Of course, all anonymous. SUSA dominating, EM, etc.

It would be nice if whatever so called "information" on any board was objective and facts to back up statements being made. All it does is stress out good folks just looking for accurate information. Guess its a product of the Trump style.

There is no accurate factual information to be had on anonymous chat forums . It is almost all agenda driven drivel. Call or email the club and get the information you need.

Actually if you go back and read the thread, there are some pertinent facts. PR did not maintain a certain % of the ECNL rosters from last year, and moved those players to Fury GDA. The rosters have been cross-checked. That is the grounds for terminating the relationship.

Ask anyone who was at Alby when they lost boys DA how that was handled. The club denied it until the end, and it screwed over a lot of players who had no highl-level team to go to at that point. So, those that got burned before have learned not to trust anything.

One little problem with that "fact". The players are the customers and if they do not wish to play in the gda, not much PR or anyone else can do about it. Alternatively, if they do not wish to stay in the ecnl, not much PR or anyone else can do about it.

You are correct when you are talking about the general market. This is different in that you have the same DOC poaching players from one league to a different one. I don't think anyone disputes that GDA was treated as the A team and ECNL as the leftovers. Why do you think ECNL made Albertson put the disclaimer on their site? They are well aware of how the ECNL was positioned with him as the DOC serving both

Where is that in the ECNL rules?

Coach told the players they have to wait and see how many DA players are coming back to ecnl and taking spots.

ok. so what you are saying is that the coach had a private conversation just for the current players and then a seperate general conversation with all the kids trying out not just those currently on the team.

The bottom line is then it seems is there is no opportunity for a new player who may be good but has always been under the radar and/or just doesn't have the same experience but may be as talented. So more window dressing than anything else and players new to this world shouldn't get their hopes up.

Nope, not a private conversation. A response to an open question. As far as your 2nd paragraph, not sure how you got that from my comment. I do agree that in general, players "new to this world" or new to any world, are at an inherent disadvantage. Window dressing might be a bit dramatic for me though.
