Today 5 people were shot dead in IL and 6 police officers wounded. Somehow I doubt the shooter's last name was Martinez. 2018 had 323 mass shootings. That's almost one a day. That is a national emergency.

He even admitted yesterday " I didn't need to do this. I wanted it to go faster." He had two years to get this done and turned down multiple prior offers. Government statistics show it is not an "emergency" like a natural disaster or 9/11. Even with his staked courts the argument won't hold up. It's not an emergency. He also wants to take $3.5B from military construction projects, including improving housing. Just this week Congress had hearings with military families talking about the mold and rat infested sh*tholes they're living in. Taking money from the troops should go over really well with Americans.

Did you even read the list? Nearly all are very minor issues and almost none involve a president tying to skirt the congressional approval process for $. Emergencies like disaster relief or terror attacks get Congressional approval to appropriate emergency funds that weren't originally budgeted. That's how the process works - you either get it into an ongoing budget or Congress has to approve emergency funds.

Yeah, this was a real ball buster and didn't cost us a dime:
