    All signs point to yes.

If this is true. Good luck to those parents and the commute to Puyallup. That is going to be horrible.

Casinos nearby for your gambling pleasure.
        3 hr drive time + 1.5 hrs of practice x 4 times a week.
Add futsal and weekend scrimmages. Awe.Some.
Not that bad, really. One dad drives from Bellingham.
So, Bellingham to Puyallup. Might as well buy a
trailer to live in while traveling.
        For what?

Get a grip. Put together a carpool. Kids do homework on the way there and back. Parents drive one night a week each. This does work. 4x a week is a lot, but how many weeks are they really practicing 4x a week a year? Maybe 3-4 months out of 10 month season? Most weeks 3x. Futsal games and scrimmages can be played all over the Puget Sound. Home games are what about 12-13x a season? News flash kids all over the US in many markets travel far to get to a DA program. If you do not think it is worth it, do not do it. Simple. Griping solves nothing. The decision is before you and your kid. If I was US Soccer positioning one DA in South Sound and one in Seattle Metro makes sense. I am just a parent here, without a whole lot of means or time, but carpools have worked for our kids, that is my perspective. Sucks for any kid that wants to stay DA and does not want the drive and cannot compete their way into playing time on Crossfire Premier DA team. Thems the breaks. The decision is individual.

Blololol. Anyone driving from Seattle to Puyallup for youth soccer needs to get a grip. Get the Coerver app and play for a more local program. 6 hours a week spent on individual technique vs. driving to/from practice will be more beneficial in the end. Hint: you can probably put the gas money saved in a 529 plan and also....end up ahead for your kid.

WPFC REIGN has a good ring to it! Already hearing some Reign 04/05 girls leaning towards Crossfire, team is kinda stacked already, but good luck.

Actually, Crossfire 04/05 are weaker than previous ECNL teams before DA.
Mostly made up of Crossfire girls, some Gunners, and here and there.
Crossfire recruits, not develop. So, they are looking for better players.
The multiple leagues have diluted the talent, so Crossfire can't keep
                control like before.

Crossfire parents are going to be soooooo pissed that new and betters
girls are coming. Meaning ECNL aka B team girls will have no chance
of going GDA. Current GDA girls will get cut or benched.
Also, remember Crossfire likes to keep rosters like 25 and cut them
as the season progresses. The harshest thing is the line up and
call out when they select girls. They will call up girls to the DA
side and the rest are left behind, like getting pick last
for dodge ball. But if your dd can make it, the team should be very strong.
                So, please come on over.

But to be fair, if there is ANY signs of intelligence over at
Eastside/Reign board of directors and leadership, they should
immediately try to get ECNL to stop the bleeding. Honestly,
parents should have a vote of no confidence on the current
leadership and new leadership should be elected.
But, they won't. So, thanks for making Crossfire stronger.

Kinda of true. Lots of former B team girls from Crossfire and Eastside.
They are starting to get big rosters. Probably a hedge against girls
who will be leaving end of season. Crossfire is guilty also.

Bottom line is that there is no way in our little snowy part of the
world can support 6 "elite" teams. No wonder soccer numbers are
down 15% in the younger age groups.

XF does nothing wrong! Lots of talent on the girls side for DA, looking to get even stronger with their present success.

Stronger. So true, especially the #19-25 girls who don't get to suit up
or travel with the team. #14-18 get to play 10-20 minutes.
What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger!

Not sure I get your logic here. How does all of this result in numbers being down 15% in the younger age groups?

                            Completely Fake

The Academy moving south is a complete fallacy. I am a Reign Academy parent and I am very familiar with the organization. I can tell you that the Reign Academy moving to Tacoma is FAKE. FAKE. FAKE. Nearly 100% of the Academy players come from the Seattle/Bellevue area. Moving them to Tacoma would not have their current players follow-it's just too far. The Reign has enjoyed a lot of success in the Development Academy over the last two years and losing almost their entire core of players (including their National-team pool players) would essentially kill the program. Additionally, most of the talent resides in the Seattle/Bellevue area and to compete/ merge with Washington Premier would not be a smart move as most of the talent in Tacoma already plays for Premier. My family wouldn't travel 3 hours to train and I know most of the current Reign players wouldn't either.

Add this to the Reign ownership and management already notifying the current players and their families in writing that they will continue operations on the Academy side with no intention to move, it makes for a pretty dumb statement to say they will sacrifice their players who live in Seattle to train in Tacoma. FAKE. FAKE. FAKE. Unless you are currently in the Reign Program I suggest you stop this now.

There will not be a Reign or DA in the Northwest in the very near future. Those are facts.

No-That is an opinion. What facts are you referring to? Real facts, not gossip, opinion, or what the other moms said. Have you spoken to the Reign? Do you even know who the Academy staff is? Please give us more than something you may have heard.
