Does anyone have more info about this, are they having multiple teams in each age group or is this one team from three clubs ? I'm familiar with PWSI don't know anything about the other two clubs.

Just creates a bigger pool of players for the DA staff to track and evaluate, which they hope leads to better teams as the kids get older. Let's the other clubs claim to offer a path to higher level soccer to their younger boys. May also help PWSI's case to get a girls DA later. The other two clubs have the occasional good player, VSA more than Chantilly, but neither are considered top clubs.

I don't know whether VSA is considered a top club by locals, but they have a healthy record of recent success on the girls side at the national level, placing teams in National League at various ages and winning at least one national championship. That ought to count for something.

I think they've only had 1 team in National League, same team that won Nationals. And that team has graduated. That's their only success that I know of. I think they are trying hard, but I would consider them several years away from showing a "healthy record of success" on the girls side.

It is interesting that Vienna just agreed to become a part of the VDA.

It is really more of a field grab for VDA.
