This is still youth soccer and our children are not your weapons.

Maybe it was you.....upset that your daughter didn't get to play in Final Four. Maybe your daughter wasn't added to the roster before the freeze and she instead played with a crap team. So your jealousy watching the 00 girls possibly win State Cup, made you call to report the error - even though your daughter is "friends" with girls on the team. But I hope you're happy that now all those girls are devastated...as you and your daughter have been.
If you know that already, then Shane on you for lying as well. It is not the girls fault as there are grown (some coaches not all the way) adults making those decisions to try and deceive the system. If you don’t like the system, that’s fine, but don’t try to say they didn’t go against the rules. The roster freeze was at end of February. Plenty of time to realize an error.
I have no idea how anyone found this out. You need to stop blaming other people though and look at your own club. It’s their fault those girls couldn’t compete in State Cup Final Four.

At what point is the coach or the club to blame or responsible for anything.
The kids were the collateral damage, but it doesn't seem like anyone cares about that.
All anyone on here cares about is blaming outside people and clubs for an internal problem.
If anyone did they would not blame others for their own mistakes.
Own up and move on.
Amazing how no responsibility from within seems to be placed on GPS or Danny who did this to themselves.
Danny and GPS tried to play a game with a duel rostered player and got caught.
How is that anybody's responsibility but their own?
Danny is in it already for training 15+ 04 FYSA registered girls at a time (love to see someone justify private training with that many kids at once) for over 6 months on GPS fields during GPS practice times from fire, cape and strikers that are all now on his team next year.
He now has an illegal player on his roster for the final 4 at state cup and people still want to place blame somewhere else.
Why is it so hard for people to see things for what they are.
How does GPS and Danny avoid people not being upset with them for this when if it was any other club or coach they would be lit on fire and burned down from the inside.
Fascinating social experiment going on here.
How about a civilized discussion on this.
How many of you would be upset with your club and coach if your team got kicked out of the state cup in the final 4 because you had an illegal player on your roster?
Would you blame another club for this (and specifically one that is a 45 min drive and a $2 toll bridge away) or would you actually be upset with the people who can control this and allowed it to happen within the own club?

But the person or group that called FYSA are obviously just bitter. Wither its the club because they are losing dozens of players. Or its a parent because his/her daughter wasn't selected by Danny to play with the 00 team. Maybe your daughter is not as good as you think. So you had no problem taking an opportunity away from all the 00 girls.

You are going to look amazingly stupid when the actual truth comes out regarding whether she was actually rostered in two places or whether, yet again FYSA have made a ridiculous error. Investigation underway.
And then you will be nowhere to be seen. Another anonymous troll spreading lies to try and hurt DF/GPS. Unfortunately, your timing is all wrong. Everybody already left Cape for GPS weeks ago. Enjoy your Rec season at your Rec club and look forward to eating humble pie pretty soon
