I don’t care either. Heck, I pay for one of these top 3 leagues too. Just explaing why we got to where we are now. It’s psychology driven (as are most luxury items in life are).

You are the exception. Many people think playing in these leagues is indicative of the special nature of their child and consider it a status symbol. Without all those folks, the whole thing crumbles

My point was if the coach is not part of the contract, maybe the player should also not be part of the contract. Lots of variables there too.

agree, so funny they ask you to sign up a soccer team without specifying the coach, it is soccer, a head coach could be a parameter worthy of half team. The club does not know soccer if they does this way, which is no good for business as well, in the long run, people will figure it out and leave.
