MB had a game plan against GPS to sit behind the ball, waste time and flop their way to PKs. They didnt pressure or even attack all game. 11 players behind the ball and booting it up the field at every opportunity. Their goal was a lucky own goal in the last second after a free kick they earned whilst simply trying to time waste for the final whistle.
They knew that if they came out to play against GPS they would get hammered by 3 or 4. And guess what, it worked!!!! All credit to them for that, GPS had plenty of chances but didnt put the ball in the goal when they should have. It's their own fault, but kids miss chances. So do Pros
Some will say that isn't "coaching" by teaching such negative soccer at U14 but some will say winning should be the main and only focus. Each individual can decide on that one.
However MB will never get that amount of luck by not conceding using this tactic again. So if they use the same toothless tactics their luck will run out and Fire will score and theyll have no answer. And if they decide to actually come out and play against Fire, then much like GPS would have done Fire will smoke them.

An easy call. MB have absolutely no quality. They flopped and dived and time wasted their way to a sleazy victory vs GPS. Only to be embarrassed today.
What a waste, GPS v Fire would've been a good game.
