Fysa was about to dq our kids bc were not wearing white socks in the finals of state cup. Our kids only have black socks. I guess we needed different socks for the finals? Thanks for your sportsmanship, Weston.

Keep in mind this is also the Juventus team that was DISQUALIFIED because the coach played an illegal player.

Weston classy Doral trashy
Actually you are wrong. That was u14 zidane and it was a mistake by the club. The boy played for doral last year and was one of the ten doral kids that got a red card in the state cup. A year ago. The club had no idea. That same doral team got beat three times this year by the player they told on at state cup. Snitches. Doral is a shanty organization and would never lend out socks like Weston did. They would have taken the win. They are really low class.

In all fairness, Doral's reputation in the soccer community is well earned. And not in a good way.

Last year they lost in the finals and their team go a mess of red cards including the coach. So this year they got juventus disqualified ( which was the correct ruling ) but is that really a way to win? Weston on the other hand lent their socks rather then let the opposing forfeit.
No doubt doral takes the easy win here.

Not sure about the whole story, but from what I gather, it was a class move on Weston's part. This is what sports are all about. Kudos to the Weston team for helping a fellow team out instead of taking the easy win.
Bravo to the coach and parents also - even though there were probably a couple that would rather take the forfeit win. :)

It was a class move even though the Weston kids started shooting the middle FINGER at our kids after the game. Our celebration was a little annoying, to be fair. The truth is, this is Weston’s second team. They play American kickball, maybe it is different with their A team. When a possession team plays a kickball team the possession team always has a chance to loose. Kick and run kick and run. It’s like pinball, u never know where the ball is gonna go. The da team likes to brag about how bad they beat up this team. That is nothing to brag about.
