Go enjoy your kid’s Soccer and stop trying to justify why he isnt playing DA. It will be ok

Best Weston and Kendall and Boca players drive right past OC on their way to Atlanta United. You are delusional. OC is a chronic underachiever across the board and has had the luxury of no competition for 5-6 years. Now Atl United is on scenic and there will soon be an option to the south, too. OC is in a death spiral. And if you cannot (or will not let yourself) see that, you need to get in touch with reality soon, because the wake up call will be soon and violent.
Anyway, OC is MLS and will be funded and still have perks and recruiting over any Florida DA. It has worked for my son and yes we have players from south Florida. Sounds like you are bitter. ECNlL not working out so great at FKK? Well you did beat Armada. Or did you?

The Great news for local competition is that GB and CM are now running the ECNL program at OC. They will again screw things up and leave club in continued shambles

CM and GB have 30 hardened supports from the 30 that they took care of. Most none of those players have now made it under the new leadership...

It will not benefit youth development under Mac, but will be used as a marketing tool to attract boarding students with parents with more money than brains. Sad. There is no pro academy option in Florida. Weston is your best option, and that should depress us all.

Desperately seeking Purple... Your entire purple clown show is laughingstock of all that know. Trust me plenty know.
1- Boys OC DA leaves mid year
2- Girls OC DA gone gone gonner....
3- OC tryouts dismal at best
4- OC could not pay for extra fields last season. Central Winds, Boom Bah gone to other clubs
OCYS Club is in major disarray
Here’s a tip.. Do not pay your season in FULL. OC could skip town mid year like other programs have already disappeared.

The state of youth soccer in Florida is really sad. These big clubs like Weston, Orlando Coty, they operate like professional franchises, just trying to win games, and willing to replace your kid about as soon as the uniforms come in the mail. There is no development, just this approach to win at all costs. At City your child is quickly expendable if the coach can scout and find a new kid to play your position. Forget the dream of a coach trying to train and develop your kid for all that money you pay. Think it’s an honor to be picked, the club views it as easy money until they find the next kid to take your spot. I don’t get it. There’s no national championship at age 10, 11,12, they are all kids. Why desperately win now??? If you develop these young kids, show confidence in them, they can develop into great players, form great teams. Instead this win at all cost mentality at a very young age drives kids away from soccer. I must be missing something, are these coaches auditioning for MLS jobs so they have to have a great record? I don’t get it, but I know by experience this is how City seems to operate, and would stay away if you want your kid to truly learn soccer and to continue their love for the game.
