    It's not a generation thing where someone tries to compare Bob Cousy and 1950's athletes and methods to a modern athlete. The men and women of today are contemporaries, and the reality is that the very best female player today would be a wallflower in a college game, let alone an NBA game. The traits that make a Breanna Stewart or Brittany Greiner so dominant in the women's game (length and skill) would be meaningless in the men's game.

    I've coached female basketball players for years. The women's game is improving by leaps and bounds, but they cannot compete evenly with males any more than they can compete with them in soccer.

      Classy by ussf to honor Kobe. He was a huge supporter of soccer including the women's game.
      Womens sports lost a big ambassador.
