Right, doesn’t matter. Everyone has a year to pick the perfect club for them for next spring. Spring is done and clubs will cancel tryouts soon (move them to late fall possibly). Focus on the club that matches your needs / wants.

Saw that on social media - pretty impressive group of colleges - and Ukies is an EDP club - looks like they also had their own college ID clinic - seems Ike they are getting more bang for their buck than we are. I am a soccer junkie and follow many, many clubs on social media from all the leagues and it’s eye opening to see all they are doing for their players during this shut down as compared to Bucks!

Can’t imagine how anyone can stay or join this club at this point.

Can you offer any specific redeeming qualities about the club itself? This seems awfully general and vague to just say "its a good club with good teams and players".

Yes, ECNL is a good league, but if you look at the performance of the FC Bucks teams pretty much at every age group, the teams do not perform very well.

Is there anything specific that FC Bucks as a club does particularly well - when compared to other ECNL clubs?

Parents and players want regularly scheduled practices, a minimum of 2 nights a week. Does not happen.

Train consistently 2-3 times a week on turf (the minimum as stated by ECNL) as an ECNL club, all teams together. U13 to U15 first session, and the U16-19 in the second session. With younger players being moved up to train from time to time. This does not happen.

NO cancelled practices, unless serious weather issues. Back-up plan is needed too. VIRUS back-up plan is needed!! This does not happen.

10-month speed, agility and ACL prevention program. Nope!

Parents and players want training and game feedback/evaluations. Nope!

Parents and players want a dedicated college recruiting coordinator. Nope Nope!

DOC has to be involved with every team, not a single team. The focus should be working with all the players and teams as an ECNL club. Nope!

No parent coach coaching their own child after U12, but best after U10. No parent ECNL coaches! You cannot coach your own child at ECNL level. Nope!

Coaches must have a minimum of a USSF B license as suggested by the ECNL. Nope!

The DOC position must have standards, right now that is not the case. NOPE!!

FC Bucks must follow ECNL guidelines. Nope!

The season is over. Your contract with a club is over. Tryouts likely for most clubs moved to fall. Why not check out other clubs instead of posting the same message everyday? You can now move freely to a new club come next spring when season starts back up.

Since people on here (probably BB) are saying the season is over and tryouts won’t happen until next year will the club be giving refunds? And when can we expect the refunds?

EDP Still hopeful and met today. Looking to reshuffle divisions to minimize travel and shift the season from late spring through summer. Glad they are trying and holding out hope. I am sure USCS and USYS all evaluating a wide variety of options and waiting to see how this plays out over the next month and longer. Don't put much stock in TS .... at any given time, you will hear several WAG's and many others that are more reasonable .... all guesses nonetheless.

Spring Season is over. Tryouts will obviously be pushed back to fall. You will see that soon.

Refunds - go take a look at the Mass threads on refunds. Some good points in there on that front.

You have a lot time to now check out other clubs (research) and maybe come fall you can physically check them out to decide where you want to move your kid. No need to copy and paste the same thing everyday when no of that matters anymore. Soccer is on a long break and you (and everyone) is no longer tied to a club (refund or not).

EDP is still “hopeful” because it’s a business that wants to keep all the $$$ it collected so far. For cancelled tournaments they are not even offering full refunds only “credits”. Youth soccer at its best.

With the amount of times we had cancelled practices and our coach not show up, we should have been getting refunds before all this coronavirus stuff.

And by the way - real clubs with real leadership, have already had the difficult conversations with their members about refunds - even if to just say, things are up in the air and we still don't know what will be. FC Bucks on the other hand has said NOTHING. Not a peep.

Yes, they are a shame. DA and ECNL are the pillars of morality. You should hold your breath for both of them to do the right thing since they are purely philanthropic entities trying to make soccer a better place for all of the little white, rich kids in the United States. #KAG

Yes the season is over so now no one is attached to a team. Take this time to look around since at this age there isn’t a fall season so we all have to next spring until the girls are back playing.

I figure most club teams will hold tryouts in fall or even next winter. Who really cares what you old team did / didn’t do. Find the best club that matches well with you and your child.

Great advice but for it to work one must be proactive in contacting other clubs/coaches and having some detailed conversations with them to gauge situation and environment for a specific team until tryouts occur (whenever that is!).

Or the VP of FC Bucks - where is he? or the DOC?
