FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - December 8, 2014
FishHawk Soccer Club and Tampa Dynamo /Houston Dynamo Soccer Club are very pleased to formally announce the merger of their Competitive, Recreational and Supplemental programs**. This agreement allows both clubs to better serve our nearly 3000 plus youth soccer players. Our goal is to ensure each player has the highest level of coaching and competitive balance necessary for that player to be successful on and off the field, whether that be in the recreational or competitive program.
Along with this merger agreement, all three complexes (FishHawk, Summerfield and Valrico) will be managed by FishHawk Youth Sports Association. With the combined resources of the clubs, support of Hillsborough County and Management from FishHawk Youth Sports Association, we will strive to provide the best programs possible and turn our three complexes into the best in the county.
There is a lot of work ahead of us; as this merger takes shape, we will be holding a series of informational meetings to discuss our movement into one new entity. We will be working closely together in the next several months to ensure as smooth of a transition as possible. This merger is the start of many new opportunities for both clubs and our players.
We look forward to the future and opportunity ahead with the focus on a better game for our children to play.
